2007 CF World Record Team Contract

I agree to be present for the initial headcount and briefing at the Lake Wales Drop Zone hangar at 6:00PM on Saturday November 17th 2007.

I agree to be present each day for the pre-dawn briefing and to be available for briefings, dirt dives, and debriefings during the ENTIRE period of predawn Sunday 18th- through Sunset Saturday November 24^th.

I agree to arrive with my parachuting equipment conforming to USPA and drop zone safety requirements. No cypress is required but is allowed.

I agree to have the wing loading of the PD Lightning canopy I am using to fall within the range 1.30 - 1.375

I agree to have my line trim fall within the guidelines listed on the website under "canopy info"... Canopy Information Page

I agree to bring and wear a tight jumpsuit that meets the description as set forth by Chris Gay in the equipment requirements.

I agree to have a mesh or X slider

I agree to read and be familiar with the Emergency Procedures posted on Wendy's website, http://crwdog.servebeer.com/CRWdog/CRW Info.html

I realize that I may be photographed or videotaped while at or above the Town and Drop Zone known as Lake Wales.

I agree that any photo/video made of me, may be used by the photographers and/or organizers of this event, in any manner they wish without further permission or any compensation.

I realize that whatever the size of the largest formation accomplished, I may not be selected to be on this load.

I realize that many formations will be launched during these seven (7) days of jumping and that a progression of successful jumps is a necessary method to build larger.

I agree and understand that a base will train and get larger while everyone else will practice skills on smaller loads until the Base is ready to accept more people.

I understand that at any point I may be selected and expected to fly my slot to the best of my ability.

I understand that at any point I may be asked sit out one or more jumps

I understand there is a possibility that the base never gets to the point to accept everyone present.

I understand that I may be not be chosen to be on any "record" formations.

I understand that I may be ask to jump a different Lightning canopy than the one that I own.

I agree to allow anyone at the event the use of my Lighting canopy if the organizing committee deems it needed.

I understand that the organizing committee may use my Lightning canopy in the formation even if I am not selected to be on the record dives.  I also understand that if I am not chosen to participate on the record dive, whether or not my canopy is used or not on the dive, that my registration fee will not be refunded. I also understand that once I arrive at the record (November 17, 2007) and have completed my registration and check in that my registration fee is then NONREFUNDABLE.

I understand that the selection of who will be included "next" is done to maximize the probability of safety and success. That this selection is based on several factors; flying skills, Team skills, slot difficulty, split times and canopy size.

I understand that to maximize the likelihood of being chosen I must demonstrate a pattern of consistently short split times, smooth docks, good team attitude, awareness of safety concerns and procedures.

I agree not to use any illegal drugs or that anything that may impair my judgment or flying ability during this period.

I agree not to smoke during dirt dives or briefings.

I agree to acquire a FAI or NAA sporting license in order to register for this event.

I agree that my safety is my responsibility and that the safety procedures listed above are the best current "advice" available. This advice is in no means a guarantee of my safety or a guarantee on how to avoid or fix dangerous situations.

I agree to hold harmless the Judges, Drop Zone, Drop Zone Staff, Pilots, Aircraft owners, mechanics, Organizers of this event, CRW Specialty Services inc, other skydivers at Lake Wales, and everyone in the Great State of Florida during the month of November 2007.

I understand that skydiving is a potentially dangerous sport. I understand that participation in this sport has potential dangers and that I take full and sole responsibility for my actions and safety.

I agree neither I nor anyone representing me or my estate will sue or bring any legal action against any party listed above or involved with this event.

In the event I decide to sue or my heirs decide to sue I agree I will be in breach of contract and therefore agree to forfeit any claim to anything, and my estate or heirs will pay any defendant whatever legal fees are necessary to defeat or defend against such action.

I accept the conditions of this contract to be included on the 2007 CF World Record Team.
